140,000-Square-Foot Facility Supports Customer Trade Show Programs
Downing Displays’ 140,000-square-foot headquarters in Milford, Ohio, brings exhibit storage, fabrication, staging, planning, and program management together in one facility. Take a three-minute aerial tour to see custom exhibits being prepared for IMTS 2026 and get a look at the space behind our customers’ trade show programs.
What’s In the Video
In this three-minute aerial tour, we fly you through our trade show exhibit warehouse, fabrication, and staging facility as we prepare for the September 2026 IMTS show. You’ll see custom exhibit booths in a range of sizes and configurations staged for final inspection and customer review, including signage, lighting, structural components, and functional experiential elements. The tour also takes you through our newly expanded dedicated storage warehouse, fabrication area, office space, and surrounding property.
30,000 Square Feet of Dedicated Warehouse Space for Storage and Inventory
The newest addition is a 30,000-square-foot dedicated warehouse, with vertical capacity to stack three full crates high.
The space supports our inventory of custom rental exhibits, high-inventory storage programs, and enables comprehensive multi-show programs. From this facility, we manage extensive customer inventories, including one trade show program encompassing approximately 200 shows a year, and another program that began with seven semi-trucks full of exhibit assets.
Our inventory management services include tracking, condition-based storage, and asset accessibility, intake and transition management, post-show inspection, and repair and refurbishment coordination.
The goal is simple: customers know what they have, where it is, its condition, and whether it is ready for the next show.
88,000 Square Feet of Design, Fabrication, and Staging Space
Downing Displays has designed and built trade show exhibits for more than 60 years, including island, double-deck, inline, and international exhibits.
We stage every new or refreshed exhibit in our facility before it ships. That allows our team and our clients to walk the space, confirm placement and functionality, test experiential elements, review graphics and lighting, and make adjustments before the exhibit reaches the show floor.
For complex programs, that pre-show staging process provides an important checkpoint between design and execution
Our fabrication and staging space also helps us maintain asset condition, program consistency, and readiness across multiple shows. Strategy, design, and execution stay connected from the first conversation through the last show of the season.
22,000 Square Feet of Office, Meeting, Planning, and Display Space
The facility tour video also captures some of the Downing Displays team at work.
Beyond the warehouse and staging areas, our account executives, account managers, designers, and project managers collaborate on trade show strategy, experiential design, exhibit planning, logistics, and ongoing project management.
Bringing those disciplines together under one roof makes it easier to move from an idea on screen to a fully staged experience, while keeping the people responsible for strategy, design, production, and execution connected throughout the process.
