A 20×20 is the standard entry point for island exhibits and works well for programs that need open access and multi-zone engagement without the complexity of a larger build. It supports demonstrations, a small meeting area, and a strong visual presence at a manageable scale.

A 20×30 or 20×40 adds linear footage, which creates room for additional engagement zones, more defined meeting spaces, or a larger demonstration footprint without introducing the structural complexity of a square island at that scale.

Configurations of 30×30 and larger support the most complex programs: multiple private meeting rooms, dedicated hospitality areas, large-scale technology integrations, and a multi-zone experience that serves hundreds of attendees throughout a full show day. These footprints often incorporate double-deck elements to maximize vertical space without expanding the floor plan further.

The right size follows from what the exhibit needs to accomplish, not from what fits the budget in isolation.
