Histosonics — From U.S. Inline to International Island
Histosonics is a medical technology company that has developed a non-invasive treatment platform using focused ultrasound to destroy targeted tissue without incisions or radiation. The technology required FDA approval organ by organ before it could be marketed in each therapeutic area, which shaped the company’s growth trajectory on the show floor as much as in the clinic.
Downing Displays began working with Histosonics when the company was exhibiting domestically with a 20-foot inline display. As Histosonics earned additional regulatory approvals and expanded its commercial reach, the exhibit program grew with them, scaling to 20×30 island configurations at key U.S. shows. When Histosonics began pursuing international markets in Europe and Asia, Downing Displays managed that expansion as an extension of the same program, coordinating strategy, exhibit design, and in-country production partnerships to execute shows in markets where the company had no prior exhibit infrastructure.
