MAZAK AT IMTS
Mazak is a global manufacturer of machine tools for job shops and major manufacturers across industries such as aerospace, medical, consumer electronics, and construction. They partnered with Downing Displays to design a custom 1600-sq-ft double-deck island exhibit that showcased its strength as an industry leader at the International Manufacturing Technology Trade Show (IMTS).
They wanted private and semi-private meeting spaces and an open, inviting floor plan that made it easy for customers and prospects to navigate and learn about the machines.
The exhibit experience included:
- A large overhead Mazak sign for visual impact
- Air-conditioned conference rooms on the first floor for private meetings
- A second-floor deck with a bar and pub tables for drinks and casual conversations
- Two smaller open-air spaces on the wings of the second floor for larger semi-private gatherings
This structure allowed Mazak to combine brand positioning, product exploration, and relationship-building within a cohesive and memorable exhibit experience.
